Jakes District Manager

Hometown: As a first generation Texan, Laura's family moved from Illinois to Tyler, TX. Laura moved to the DFW area in the 90s to begin her career in restaurant management.

Early in her career, Laura was an integral part of training teams and opening new stores across the DFW area. 

​

Laura assumed her first role as General Manager with a move to Arizona where she became GM at an MIT training store. Continuing in that position, Laura returned to Texas. Her passion, to deliver the best dining experience to the guests as well as growth opportunities for the staff, would lead Laura on a new professional journey to Jakes Burgers and Beer.

In her current roles as Jakes Burgers and Beer District Manager, Laura is responsible for building and training teams as well as further expanding the Jakes brand to bring the best burger on the planet to an even bigger audience.

Laura attended Tyler Junior College and Texas A&M University. In her free time, Laura enjoys cooking with her family, reading, traveling and hiking.
