Hometown: Originally from Merced, CA and moved around a lot, but now considers the DFW area his home

Mike began working in the restaurant industry in 1993 and began his career in restaurant management in 1998 at Uncle Julio's where he worked his way up from Server to General Manager. In 2006, Mike left Uncle Julio's with the originators of the concept to start a new restaurant concept called Mi Chulas Good Mexican where he was the Director of Operations. Mike then joined the Jakes Burgers and Beer team as District Manager in 2014.

As Jakes Burgers and Beer District Manager, Mike is responsible for maintaining the Jakes culture of putting employees first, hiring and training new managers, and developing team members through one-on-one encouragement and positive feedback.

Mike majored in Business at the University of North Texas. He greatly enjoys spending time outdoors in his free time and has become a self-proclaimed master of fly fishing.
